View that opened in front of us after crossing Arthur's Pass. We hadn't eaten lunch yet, and were really hungry. But this view was worth stopping for.

After being stopped for speeding ... and getting a fine ... we were trying to make up the lost time and get to Franz Josef in time. This sunset was shot from the car on the way.
